Children's Ministry

CBC has a nursery in the Fellowship Building for children up to two years of age. The nursery is available during Sunday School and during normal worship service times. CBC also has a "crying room" in the Auditorium for those parents who prefer to keep their children with them but need a place to change diapers or attend to other immediate needs.

We invite you and your family to actively participate in our Sunday School ministry. Family education and worship is valued at Copperfield Bible Church. Please keep in mind that even though our children’s classes are based on age groups, children are quite welcome to join their parents in the adult class if that is the parents’ desire. All classes start at 9:30 A.M. in the Fellowship Building. Classes are divided by age/grade: 2-4 years of age; K-2nd grade; 3rd-6th grade; and youth (grades 7th-12th). The children’s curriculum is always Scripture centered and may include material from Faith Family Bible Curriculum, Generations of Grace, Children Desiring God, and New Tribes Mission. We desire to help parents who are the primary spiritual mentors and instructors of their children and we carefully select materials we believe will help us do that.

Children’s Church is for children between the ages of 3 and 6, and is held in the Fellowship Hall at approximately 11:15 A.M. The children are dismissed during the last hymn prior to the sermon of the main service. On the first Sunday of the month, which is Communion Sunday, children remain with their parents throughout the entire service so that they may participate in Communion. Children are always welcome to stay with their parents throughout the entire main worship service.

CBC hosts a Vacation Bible School or "VBS" annually. 2017's VBS theme was "B.O.O.T. Camp." We look forward to having your child come to our next VBS.

It is open to all children kindergarten through the 6th grade. We may be able to take younger children upon request, but all children must be potty trained. Youth older than the 6th grade are welcome to participate as helpers. Don't attend CBC? That's ok. We'd love to have you. Space is limited and registration is on a first-come basis.
