We take seriously Jesus’ Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you.”

LOCAL OUTREACH

Copperfield Bible Church believes very strongly in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ to unbelievers and trusting God to do His work through His Word. CBC encourages personal evangelism through our local outreach ministry. We have events such as Vacation Bible School which gives us another avenue to share the Word with our local community.

Everyone is called to the mission field, probably not as a full-time missionary, but in the mission field that is within the sphere of our daily lives: friends, family, and co-workers. We encourage every member to reach out to those people whom God has brought into our lives that need the saving message of Jesus Christ. It is important not only to proclaim the Gospel, but to live our lives in such a way that it does not contradict the message we are proclaiming.

CARE NET PREGNANCY CENTER

This could rightly be placed under "local outreach" since Care Net Pregnancy Center of Northwest Houston is only minutes away from CBC, but Care Net shows that we care about the spiritual and physical needs of our community.

Care Net's mission is to demonstrate the love of Christ to those facing an unplanned or crisis pregnancy through the provision of spiritual, physical, emotional, and educational support and by proclaiming the Gospel. They are committed to providing compassionate counsel, practical help, and accurate information to men and women facing unplanned pregnancies or past abortions; to promote premarital abstinence; and to do these in a way that draws people to the Lord Jesus Christ to bring Him honor and glory.

We support Care Net financially and through regular collections of clothing, equipment and supplies.

INTERNATIONAL MISSIONS

We realize that everyone is not given the giftedness to be a full-time missionary. Our approach to International Missions is to instruct our people as to how they can best support the cause of Christ abroad, as well as giving financial and prayer support to missionaries in the field.

CBC currently supports a missionary family in South America. More information about this family and their ministries is available in the Auditorium. These missionaries need our prayers and financial support.
